Olympic Games Paris 2024 LIVE Day 11: It is a big day for India. Reigning Olympic gold medal winning javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, the biggest gold medal hope for India at the Paris Olympics 2024, will be in action in the qualification round along with Kishore Kumar Jena.
In hockey, the Indian men's team are on the cusp of glory as they are just a win away of reaching the final. Germany are their opponents in the semifinals.
Kiran Pahal, India's hope in women's 400m, will look to make use of her second chance at the Games when she competes in Heat 1 of repechage round.
Vinesh Phogat, the renowned Indian wrestler, will look to seal her place in the quarterfinals when she takes on Japan's Yui Susaki.
After the women's team qualified for the quarterfinals, the Indian men's TT team will have their task cut out as they have been pitted against mighty China in Round of 16 today.

Neeraj Chopra's rivals qualify for the Finals
The Kenyan Julius Yego and Finnish Toni Keranan also qualified for the finals directly after a throw of 85.97m and 85.27.
Kishore Jena couldn't better his throw of 80.73m in the next two throws and his hopes for a final qualification seem diminishing.

Athletics: Kishore Jena in action at the qualification round
Hangzhou Asian Games silver medalist Kishore Jena will look to breach the 84m qualification mark to qualify for the Finals.
Kishore Jena's qualification round starts at 1:50 PM IST.
Neeraj Chopra is currently placed in Group B of the qualification rounds and will take the field at 3:20 PM.

Lakshya Sen lost the bronze medal match against the Malaysian Lee Zii Jia, after winning the first game by 21-13 and also losing the last two games by 16-21,11-21.
Mixed team Skeet Indian duo of Maheshwari Chauhand and Anant Jeet Singh Naruka, lost the bronze medal to the Chinese pair by a whisker.
