Welcome to The Bridge's LIVE blog for Shooting on Day 2 of the Tokyo Olympics.
After the disappointment of Women's 10m Air Pistol early in the morning, the Indian Men's 10m Air Rifle shooters failed to impress as well as they failed to qualify for the final.
Deepak Kumar was the better of the two Indian rifle shooters in the day, finishing 26th with 624.7 points. Divyansh Panwar, on the other hand, ended at 32nd spot with 622.8.
The Men's Skeet qualification Day 1 is underway currently with Angad Bajwa and Mairaj Khan were in action. While Angad ended the day in a respectable 11th position, Mairaj slipped up after starting the day strongly and ended at the 25th spot.
That is the end of the day in Shooting at the Tokyo Olympics. The remaining two rounds of Men's Skeet qualification round will be held tomorrow, followed by the final!

Angad Bajwa finishes the day at 11th position after three rounds of men's skeet qualification with a score of 73. While, Mairaj Khan ends in 25th spot, hitting 71 targets.
The third round of Men's Skeet qualification is still going on. We will have a proper confirmation of Angad Bajwa and Mairaj Khan's official standings for the day in about 15 minutes from now.
After being in some very good touch in the first two rounds of the day, Mairaj Khan slips up in the third round hitting the target just 22 times. This has pulled him down to number 25 in the rankings.
Angad Bajwa ends his day hitting 24 off the 25 targets in round 3. He is currently ranked 12th.
Mairaj Khan has, so far, missed two of his seventeen shots in round 3. This has dragged him down to the 20th position in the rankings.
Mairaj Ahmad Khan has hit the target 11 out of 11 times in round three, while Angad Bajwa has missed once and hit 13 times so far.
The Round 3 of Men's Skeet will start in a bit.
