Tokyo Olympics: Shooting LIVE Day 2, July 25 — Angad 11th, Mairaj 25th in Skeet — Updates, score, results, blog
A VERY POOR display this by Divyansh and Deepak
This has been a really poor show by both Divyansh Panwar and Deepak Kumar. They were certainly not the medal contenders in this event, but this was just plain disappointing.
If Divyansh was inconsistent with his shots, Deepak was consistent but just could not hit the higher 10s more often.
The start was very poor and both of them gradually picked up as the event went by, but the others were just brilliant and the Indians did not even get a sniff.
In fact, Deepak's final position of 26th was the highest India ever had in this match.
So while the country's pistol shooters at least went down fighting, the rifle shooters (both men and women) simply surrendered. Not what one would expect in a stage as big as the Olympics.

Too little too late, Deepak!
Deepak Kumar shoots his best series of the day in his late. But, it was just too late. There was nothing left to play for.
How up can Deepak climb?
The dream of an Olympic medal in men's 10m rifle is over for India at the moment. Now, it is all about whether Deepak can earn a respectable position in the final standings or not?
Divyansh KNOCKED OUT
The young Divyansh Singh Panwar has been knocked out from the Men's 10m Air Rifle. He is currently ranked a disappointing 33d with a final score of 622.8.
Deepak ranked 29th after 50 shots
Deepak Kumar is ranked 29th after five series. End of the campaign in men's 10m rifle for India, it seems.
Divyansh is 29th at the end of fifth series
Divyansh has moved up to the 29th spot at the end of his fifth series, shooting 104.6. But with just ten more shots left, does he have enough in the tank to force his way into the top 8?
This already looks over for India
Well, this already looks over for India, at least to me. We would need something sensational here from either of Divyansh or Deepak to harbour any hopes of making it to the final.
Deepak Kumar moves up to 28th
Deepak Kumar has moved up to 28th spot and continues to have a wood over the young Divyansh. But, this is just not enough.
Worrying signs for India
Divyansh Panwar is ranked 31st after his fourth series of shots.
Yang Haoran leads Istvan Peni
China's Yang Haoran is currently leading the favourite Istvan Peni of Hungary at top of the table!
