Mohun Bagan vs East Bengal, Durand Cup 2023: East Bengal beat Mohun Bagan 1-0 courtesy a 60th minute goal by Nandhakumar Sekar to win their first Kolkata Derby in 1666 days.
Mohun Bagan started the game on top gear with their new weapon Armando Sadiku up top. East Bengal's trio of Nandha, Naorem Mahesh and Javier Siverio kept on threatening the Mohun Bagan defense until Nandha's 60th-minute banger gave EB a 1-0 lead.
