Mohun Bagan started the game on top gear with their new weapon Armando Sadiku up top. East Bengal's trio of Nandha, Naorem Mahesh and Javier Siverio kept on threatening the Mohun Bagan defense until Nandha's 60th-minute banger gave EB a 1-0 lead.
