Welcome to The Bridge's live blog for Archery on Day 0 of the Tokyo Olympics.
Deepika Kumari finished at ninth position in the Women's Individual Ranking round with 663 points.
The young Pravin Jadhav has pulled off a better performance than the likes of experienced Atanu Das and Tarundeep Rai in the men's individual ranking round at the Tokyo Olympics today.

Atanu climbs to 26th place
In round 2, Atanu goes up to the 26th spot with 440 points after 48 arrows. Pravin is at 30th place with 438 points. Tarundeep place at 41st place with 432 points.

2nd half begins
Round 1
Pravin Jadhav leads among the Indians at the 27th position, scoring 55 in the last six arrows. Atanu Das is at the 28th position scoring 55. Tarundeep Rai continues to trail in the 45th position with 54 points.

Korea reigns
Like their women counterparts, the Korean's are acing it even in men's individual ranking round. Deok Je Kim finishes at the top spot after 36 arrows with 345 points. His compatriot Woojin Kim is in the second position with 340 points. Kazakhstan's Denis Gankin takes third place with 338 points.

The first half concludes, Indians nowhere near the top-10
The first half concludes with 36 arrows shot.
Pravin Jadhav at 30th place with 329 points, Atanu Das at 31st place with 329 points and Tarundeep Rai languishes 45th place with 323 points.

Archer Pravin Jadhav Indian archer Pravin Jadhav had two choices to make as a young boy -- join his father as a wage labourer or run on the track for a better living. Never in his dream, he had thought of representing India in the Olympics and that too in a sport alien to him.

Pravin Jadhav surpasses Atanu
After the penultimate round of the first half, Pravin manages to climb at the 25th spot, raking up 56 from his last six arrows. Atanu further slips to the 29th position scoring 55 points. Tarundeep recovers to 37th place scoring 57 in his last six arrows.

Atanu losing the grip, Tarundeep spirals at 48th place
After 24 arrows,
Atanu slips to the 29th position with 220 points. Tarundep spirals to 48th place with 214 points, scoring 53, while Pravin Jadhav steps up to 30th place with 219 points.

Tarundeep drops further to 45th position
1st half
In round 3, Atanu hits X-10-9-9-9-9 to recover from his slip and gets back to the 11th position. Pravin surpasses Tarundeep to be in the 35th position with a consistent 54.
Tarundeep plummets further to the 45th position.
