National Games 2025, Day-13 LIVE: Tajinderpal, Yarraji in action

Day 13 of the 2025 National Games saw the Tajinderpal Singh Toor reiterating his dominance in shotput, winning the gold medal. 

A young Dev Meena also recorded a new national record in men's pole vault, while Ankita won the women's 3000m steeplechase having just made a switch to the event from 5000m and 10,000m.

Pole vaulter Dev Meena has shattered the men's national record in the sport. 

He registers a leap of 5.32m, going past the previous record of 5.31m held by Siva Subramani.

Anushka Yadav, Tanya Chaudhary, and Nandini combine to complete a podium sweep for Uttar Pradesh in women's hammer throw.

While Yadav takes gold, Chaudhary and Nandini win silver and bronze respectively.

Niharika Vashisht is the women's triple jump champion at the 2025 National Games. She records a best of 13.37m to take the gold for Punjab.

Kerala earn a double podium in the event, winning the silver and bronze via NV Sheena (13.19m) and Sandra Babu (13.12m) respectively.
