KBFC vs BFC
Kerala Blasters FC and Bengaluru FC played against each other in a very important Group C game of the Durand Cup. Bengaluru FC sits on second place of the points table with four points, while Kerala Blasters are at the bottom with one point after the game.
The first half of the match was mostly controlled by Kerala Blasters. They attacked aggressively from the very beginning. Justine Emmanuel scored the first goal for Kerala Blasters in the 14th minute.
Bengaluru FC had to defend a lot during the first half and tried to score on fast counter-attacks. They managed to equalize in the 46th minute with a goal from Edmund, who put the ball into the net after a good pass from the right side.
In the second half, Rahul KP had a great opportunity to score for Kerala Blasters, but he couldn't hit the target. A little while later, Bengaluru FC took the lead with another counter-attack, and Ashish Jha scored their second goal.
Kerala Blasters managed to equalize in the 84th minute with a goal from Mohammed Aimen. However, their situation got tougher when Hormipam Ruivah received a second yellow card and Kerala Blasters were down to 10 men.
Gokulam Kerala FC qualifies from Group C with six points from two games, they face Bengaluru FC next. The chances of Kerala Blasters moving on to the knockout stage look very slim after this match. Bengaluru FC must defeat Gokulam Kerala and depend on other groups to qualify as one of the best second placed team.

What a comeback from Bengaluru FC! It is Ashish who finds the net for BFC. Yet another counter through the left, Hormipam clears it but the ball was in the box and Ashish Jha slots it past the keeper.
