Sarvesh joined Aadarsh at the top of the pack with a first-time clearance at the 2.10m mark.

Only six athletes have cleared this mark yet, with only four of them on the first attempt.

The cagey affair continues. Both Sumit and McConnell landing a few punches on each other.

The pressure is building as the clock winds down to under a minute. A warning for Sumit, but nothing which could cause him any harm in this contest.

As the final bell sounds and both of them have identical celebrations. They both think they have done enough. I do so as well...

But what matters is what the judges think here. This will surely be a split decision result...

And it falls in favour of McConnell. The man from Northern Ireland has knocked out Sumit Kundu via a 4-1 split decision!

Para Athletics, Women's Shot Put F57 Final: Shilpa Shyla registers a new personal best of 7.26m; currently leads the final

Shilpa Shyla showed a tremendous performance in the women's shot put F57 final, finishing her competition with a new personal best throw of 7.26m.

She started her competition with a 6.69m throw and then bettered it in her second attempt at 6.95m, before registering a new personal best of 7.26m on her third attempt.

She had throws of 6.91m, 7.09m and a foul on her final attempt and ended her competition with the best of 7.26m.

She is now at the top of the pack with three more athletes to go and just needs one of them to finish below her to confirm a medal.
