That's all we had from the Kokugikan Arena in Tokyo today. While the day started on a bright note for India with Satish Kumar winning his first bout of the Olympics, it ends in a completely contrasting manner.

This was probably the last of Mary Kom we saw at the Olympics as per the AIBA rules. But, you never know. She has surprised each one of us with her determination and longevity and I will not be surprised if we see her once again in Paris, though it is highly unlikely.

Indians are in awe of Mary Kom's sportsmanship, even after losing such a close bout. 

There is no option to protest at the Tokyo Olympics. Hence, I do not really think there can be anything done. So, that should be all of Mary Kom we will see in Tokyo.

The Indian fans, as expected, do feel that the bout should have gone in favour of Mary Kom. Especially the first round.

It was very very tight, and the scores suggest the exact same thing. It is 3-2 in favour of Ingrit Valencia Victoria.

HEARTBREAK for India as Mary Kom loses the bout by Split Decision. This was very very close, and the Indian would feel hard done by.

Less than a minute remains, and it is still as fiery as it was when it started. Going to be very tough to decide a winner here.
