The match between Satwik-Chirag and Singapore's Nge Joo Jie and Johann Prajogo is the last match of the day at the BJ Gymnasium.
Currently, Court 2 is occupied by a women's doubles match. Once the match ends, a women's singles match will be played there followed by the men's doubles quarterfinal.

Satwik and Chirag defeated Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin 24-22, 16-21, 21-12 in the first round.
In the team event, the Indian pair lost to South Korea's Kang Minhyuk and Seo Seungjae 13-21, 24-26 in the semifinals but beat China's Laing Weikeng and Wang Chang 21-15, 21-18 in the final.

World no. 3 Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will be playing Singapore's world no. 106 Nge Joo Jie and Johann Prajogo in their men's doubles quarterfinal clash. The match will start at 3:50 PM IST.
This will be the first meeting between the two pairings.
Prannoy through to the semifinal, assured of a medal
Prannoy is an absulote champion! He finishes it off with a down-the-line smash. Coach Gopichand and Gurusai Dutt celebrate. Prannoy falls flat on the court. He beats Lee Zii Jia after saving two match points and finally wins the game 22-20 and the match 2-1. Prannoy has assured himself and India at least a bronze medal - a historic first for India in men's singles since Syed Modi in 1982 - now by making it to the semis.
Final result: HS Prannoy beats Lee Zii Jia 21-16, 21-23, 22-20
