Indian men's cricket team defended its gold medal with a 19-run win over Pakistan in the final.
Chasing 212, Pakistan had a poor start, losing three wickets for just 39 runs and making it much tougher for them to chase down this big total.
Hasan Nawaz tried his best with a blistering innings of 96 off 51 balls, but he didn't get any support from others as India successfully defended their total and won the gold medal.
Indian spinners Axar Patel and Washington Sundar had a brilliant outing with the ball, picking up two wickets each for just 29 runs. Shivam Dube also bagged two wickets.
Final Score: India 211/6; Pakistan (192/6)
Golf: Indian male golfers went medal-less for the fourth consecutive edition
Despite a late surge from Saptak Talwar and Veer Ahlawat, India missed out on a podium finish in men’s golf.
Both Saptak and Veer finished tied for sixth at 9-under-par after carding rounds of 4-under and 3-under, respectively, on the final day.
Yuvraj Sandhu ended 24th at 1-over-par, extending India’s individual medal drought for at least another four years.
In the team event, India finished sixth at 18-under-par and also missed out on a medal.
India last won an individual medal in 2002, when Shiv Kapur claimed gold, while the country’s last team medal came in 2010, when it won silver.
Men's Cricket Final: India posted a massive 211/6 against Pakistan
Batting first, India posted 211/6 in their 20 overs, with Abhishek Sharma’s 61 off 28 balls giving the team the start it needed.
India then struggled to build partnerships in the middle overs and were 133-5 at the start of the 15th over.
But late fireworks from Tilak Varma (51 off 22) and Shivam Dube (27 off 15) provided the finish India needed, and the team total went past 200.
Pakistan will now need 212 runs to win the match.

In an all-Indian bronze medal match, Neeraj Chauhan stunned top seed Dhiraj Bommadevara 6-4 to claim the bronze.
Dhiraj made a poor start, shooting a 7 on his first arrow, which cost him the opening set as Neeraj took it 29-26.
Dhiraj began the second set with another low score of 8 but recovered with two consecutive 10s to edge Neeraj 28-27.
The third set went Dhiraj’s way as he posted a 29 to win by a single point and take a 4-2 lead in the match.
Neeraj bounced back strongly in the fourth set with a perfect 30, while Dhiraj managed only 28, levelling the score at 4-4.

A bad start for Neeraj, having 9-9-10 in the first set in comparison to Japan's Junya Nakanishi who had a 10-10-9, edging Neeraj 29-28.
He had another poor set, with 8-10-9 and went down 0-4 to Junya after the two sets. The Indian earned his first point in the third set after a tie set at 29-29.
In the fourth set, he had another poor series of 9-9-8, and he conceded the set 26-29 and lost the match 1-7 and will fight for bronze against Dhiraj.
This also meant that India will miss out on the LA Olympic quota in men's recurve, as only the two best non-qualified archers earn a quota in singles.
