Asian Games LIVE: India will look to build on a historic day at the Asian Games, after the women's hockey team ended a 44-year wait for gold by beating China 1-0 in the final. The Indian women's team also secured qualification for the LA 2028 Olympics with the victory.
The focus now shifts to another packed day, with India facing Pakistan in the men's cricket final at 10:00 AM. The men's hockey team will also fight for gold against Malaysia at 3:30 PM, while India's archers and wrestlers have several medal opportunities.
In archery, Dhiraj faces Uzbekistan's Amirkhon in the men's individual quarterfinal, while Neeraj takes on Bhutan's Lam. The women's individual competition also gets underway, with India facing South Korea in the quarterfinals.
Wrestling will feature Aman Sehrawat in the men's freestyle 57kg round of 16, alongside Indian competitors in the 97kg, 74kg, women's 57kg and 53kg categories.
India will also be in action in taekwondo, volleyball and rugby, with several events leading into medal bouts later in the day.

Archery, Women's Individual QF: Kumkum Mohod to SEMISSSS!
A sensational win for the 17-year-old Kumkum Mohod, who has taken down the reigning world champion and former Olympic gold medallist Kang Chae Young of South Korea in the quarter-finals.
Mohod holds her nerves to shoot a ten with her final arrow of the match to draw level in the fifth set and close off the match with a 6-4 win!

Golf, Women's Individual: Pranavi Urs starts decently
Pranavi Urs, who was at the gold medal position at the end of Day 3, has started decently on the final day of women's individual stroke play.
She begins from Hole 10 and has carded two pars in as many holes.
Women's golf is one event we'll closely follow today with an individual medal for Pranavi and a team medal for India on the horizon!
With a score of 6-under-par, the Indian trio of Aditi Ashok, Diksha Dagar, and Pranavi have fallen down to the third spot in the standings. They were at the second at the end of day's play yesterday.
