A good start for the Indian shooters as Rudrankksh is currently in the top position with a score of 148.2, followed by Sheng Liaho at 147.7

MMA: Women's 60Kg Traditional: Bronze for Suchika Tariyal; loses the bout in overtime

Suchika Tariyal clinched the bronze medal after losing the semi-final bout in overtime to Singapore's Hui Hoon Teo.

After losing the first round 0-3, the 36-year-old veteran martial arts player showed some aggressive combat in the second round to register a 2-1 win in the second round and force overtime.

In overtime, both athletes were a little cautious, but in the end the judges announced Singapore as the winner, thanks to her quality punches in the final seconds.

After the announcement, Suchiya burst into tears as she wasn't happy with the decision and thought she had done enough to win the bout.

Sumit Kundu ahead on three judges, two have it as a tie. The Indian has the advantage heading into the final round and he is happy to slow down and be on the defensive.

The Thai pugilist seems to be out of energy as Sumit lands clean punches. This should be a win for Kundu, one feels.

Sepak Takraw, Men's Team Regu: India concede 1-2 to Japan

India lose 1-2 to hosts Japan in Men's Team Regu group B match.

India won the opening match 2-0, fighting back from 5-10 down in the first set to win 15-13, before taking the second set 15-8.

Japan then fought back in the second match, winning two of the three sets to level the tie. Japan carried that momentum into the decider. 

India showed some glimpses of the fightback but Japan secured the win in the third set and winning the match.

Boxing, Men's 70kg: Sumit Kundu takes Round 2

Sinsiri looking to close the distance and get on with it early in the second round. But Sumit Kundu's counter-punches have been effective.

Blows being exchanged back and forth in the mid part of that second round. This could swing either way from the looks of it.

Sumit once again on top via a 4-1 split.

The bout is underway. Both boxers a bit tentative early on, but Kundu seems more eager to take the initiative. He is looking to push forward and lands a couple of good blows.

The Thai boxer, in the first two minutes, hasn't really been as effective as he would have liked. Can he turn it around in the final minute?
