Soft Tennis, Mixed Doubles Group Stage: India lose to Korea in final group match but advance to R16
Indian pair Jay Meena and Aadhya Tiwari face their first defeat of the tournament, losing 1-5 (1-4, 2-4, 2-4, 5-7, 4-1, 3-5) to South Korea in final group game.
The Korean pair started on high, winning the first three games comfortably, but then they were well challenged by the Indian pair as they pushed the fourth game to extra points.
Although the Indians couldn't win the game and Korea took a 4-0 lead, Jay and Aadhya continued to fight back and win the fifth game to further extend the fight.
But they couldn't find any more games and lost the match 2-5 after a hard-fought 7th game. However, they have still qualified for the knockout stage after finishing second in Group B.
Swimming, 4x200m Freestyle relay heats: India finish ninth
The Indian men’s 4x200m freestyle relay team missed out on a place in the final after finishing ninth with a time of 7:24.32s. The quartet of Aneesh Gowda, Sajan Prakash, Vedaant Madhvan and Dhakshan Shashikumar will be the first reserve for the final.

It doesn't take longer than three games for Sreeja Akula either. She breezes past Fatima Khan 11-4, 11-4, 11-5.
India have swept past Pakistan in this contest, as expected.

Swimming, Men's 50m Freestyle: Heer Gitesh Shah, Akash Mani out in Heats
India's Akash Mani and Heer Gitesh Shah bow out in the heats of men's 50m freestyle.
While Akash clocked 23.43s to finish 26th, Shah finished 28th overall with a timing of 23.57s.
Table Tennis, Women's Team: Syndrela Das takes down Kalsoom Khan
Syndrela Das records a comfortable victory over Kalsoom Khan. The 17-year-old Indian wins 11-6, 11-7, 11-5. Barely any struggles there for the teenager on her Asian Games debut.
If Sreeja Akula wins the next match, this will be a clean sweep for India!

Sepak Takraw, Men's Team Regu: India-Japan in decider set
The second match of the tie is evenly poised, with India and Japan taking a set each. Japan claimed the opening set 15-12, but India bounced back in a high-intensity second set, edging it 17-15.
With the match still in the balance, India lead the tie 1-0.
Shooting, Men's 10m Air Rifle Qualification: Silver for Indian team; Rudrankksh & Himanshu into individual final
Third silver for India in shooting at these Asian Games as the defending champion Indian men's air rifle team couldn't challenge the strong Chinese team.
The trio of Rudrankksh Patil, Himanshu Dhillon and Parth Mane combined to score 1890.1, finishing second to China, which set a new world record with 1899.
Rudrankksh (631.8) and Himanshu (630.0) also qualified for the Individual final, which is set to take place at 9:00 AM IST.
Swimming, Men's 100m Breaststroke Heats: Danush finish 22nd overall
India's Danush Suresh finised 22nd overall in 100m breaststroke. Swimming in lane 7 of heat 2, Danush clocked 1:03.46s to missing out on a place in the final.
