Shooting, Men's 10m Air Rifle Qualification: Himanshu Dhillon finishes with 630; currently in 7th place

Himanshu Dhillon is the third shooter to finish his qualification, scoring 630 from his 60 shots.

He is currently in 7th place and is fighting for the last 8th spot with 4-5 other shooters who are still competing.

Indian team finished with 1890.1 and is currently in the silver medal position, which they are most likely to hold.

Shooting, Men's 10m Air Rifle Qualification: Rudrankksh Patil finishes with 632; currently in 3rd place

The former world champion had a decent start to his 2026 Asian Games campaign, recording 631.8 in the qualification stage

He is set to qualify for the final as he is currently in 3rd place with a good lead over other shooters who are still competing.

China's Sheng Lihao is currently at the top with 635.4, followed by China's second shooter, Mi Sihan, with 633.0

The former junior world champion didn't have a very good start to his Asian Games campaign as he only shot 628.3.

He is unlikely to make it to the final as he is currently in 11th place with other shooters still competing. China's Sheng Lihao is currently at the top with 635.4.

Soft Tennis, Mixed Doubles Group Stage: India claims second straight win

Indian pair Jay Meena and Aadhya Tiwari claimed their second consecutive straight-games 5-0 (4-2, 4-1, 4-1, 4-0, 5-3) win in the group stage.

The duo had another comfortable outing as the Mongolian pair Bud Nyamdorj and Enkhkhuslen Ganbaatar didn't challenge much, except in the final game, where they pushed to extra points but couldn't finish.

They will now take on South Korea in the final group game at 7:30 PM IST.

Swimming, 50m backstroke heats: Srihari in final, Rishab in reserve

Srihari Nataraj just about managed to make the men's 50m backstroke final, clocking 25.37s to finish third in Heat 2. He is currently 9th overall.

Rishabh Das, swimming in the same heat, finished fourth with 25.41s and is now in the reserve position.

10 swimmers have advanced to the finals.

India bring in Sutirtha Mukherjee and Syndrela Das, both of whom didn't feature yesterday, for this contest against Pakistan.

Mukherjee steps out for the first match against Aleena Khan and the 2023 women's doubles bronze medallist makes a quick work of her opponent.

The Indian wins 11-3, 11-4, 11-4 in no time!

It is time for the first India v/s Pakistan clash at the 2026 Asian Games. The Indian women's team, after the thrilling win against Singapore on Sunday, go up against their bitter neighbours in what will be their final Group F clash.

Considering their from so far, this should not be a very tough ask for the Indians. But they surely, can't afford to take it easy.

Sepak Takraw, Men's Team Regu: India sweep Japan 2-0 in match 1

India beat Japan 15-13, 15-9 in the first match of the Men's Team Regu Group B. India were trailing 5-10 in the first set and foughback to win the opening set 15-13 against the hosts. The second was an easy one for Indians, they led from the start and took a 4 point cusion at 8-4 before closing the match 15-8. 

Total three matches are to be played, India leads 1-0 in the tie.

Wushu, Women's Changquan Final: Nyeman is 15th

Nyeman Wangsu finished 15th among 16 competitors in the women’s Changquan final. Nyeman scored 9.573 points, earning 4.90 in quality of movement, 2.690 on overall performance and full 2.00 points in degree of difficulty.

Meet Elavanil Valarivan: India's first-ever women's air rifle Asian Games silver medalist

Elavenil Valarivan has been around the Indian shooting setup for years. She has won medals across the board, from World Championships to Asian Championships to World University Games. But a medal at a major multi-sport event has somehow always eluded her.

That was until Sunday. At the Aichi Prefecture General Shooting Gallery, Valarivan shot her way to twin silver medals at the 2026 Asian Games.
