It's a difficult time for all of us who are waiting to go back their regular life amid the lockdown. But it's more distressing for those who have been living in night shelters. At such a moment, people staying in the night shelter at Yamuna Sports Complex, mostly migrant labourers and financially weak people, are trying to up their morale by watching magic shows and taking yoga classes.

According to The New Indian Express, now the local administration has crowd-sourced two yoga trainers to conduct classes and maintain their physical fitness.

With the purpose of keeping the body and the mind fit in the time of negativity and depression, magic shows with music are being conducted. The yoga initiative was taken after five people in the shelter showed signs of mental breakdown.

Those people were immediately taken to the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS). Now a team of doctors from the institute do routine checks of the residents at the night shelter.

This night shelter has a capacity of accommodating 1,500 people and currently, 300 people are staying in the camp. The Yamuna Sports Complex was converted into a makeshift camp on March 31 for those stranded in Delhi without a home.
