That also brings us to the end of an exciting first half. The Gonasika took the lead in the first quarter and then they gifted it away late in the second quarter.

The Lancers would, however, consider themselves unlucky though to not have the lead yet. They dominated the second quarter in entirety and  even had a goal disallowed controversially by the on field umpire.

The scores are level and expect nothing less than fireworks in the second half.

30' - Good save, PAYNE!

A good move from the left by Kalinga Lancers and Oliver Payne denies them with a good save. It goes for a long corner and with the clock dying down, the Gonasika defence does well to ensure no damage is done.

28' - LANCERS SCOREEE!

The Kalinga Lancers have scored. FINALLY!

A massive, massive defensive lapse right at the top of the circle from Gonasika, who fail to trap the ball cleanly. Antoine Kina is just at the right position to take advantage.

He picks the bone out of the ball with that shot. It goes in before even anyone realises. That was a fiery shot from Kina. LANCERS EQUALISE!

23' - GOAL DISALLOWED, LANCERS!

Okay, this is interesting now. Kalinga Lancers have scored after some chaos inside the circle. The on field umpire first signals a goal and asks for a review himself.

The TV umpire feels there's no need to change the on field decision after the replays. However, the on field umpire decides to over rule the third umpire.

"The ball was above knee height," the umpire quips. 

He feels it was a dangerous ball inside the circle by the Lancers.

Kalinga Lancers are dumbfounded but they can't do anything. The goal has been disallowed.

23' - No touch on Zalewski's shot

Dipsan Tirkey, the Gonasika defender, on a run and gifts a turnover to Lancers, who create a chance of their own. Aran Zalewski with a drive from outside of the circle and the ball goes right into the goal post.

However, there's no touch inside the shooting circle from any Lancers' forward and hence it won't stand.

21' - Good tackle from Gonzalez Enrique

Team Gonasika with yet another dangerous move, but Gonzalez Enrique has it in control for the Lancers. A good tackle and steal right at the top of the D to avert the danger.
