Team Gonasika penetrate the circle right away in the third quarter and Lancers seem to be in trouble. However, Krishan Phatak comes down and dives to kick the ball away to safety. Good goalkeeping there.

END OF THIRD QUARTER!

The third period of 15 minutes comes to an end. The Lancers called the shots and they found the net to take the lead. They had a few other threatening moves as well but no damage could be done.

Team Gonasika did earn their first penalty corner, but they hardly looked like troubling the Lancers in that quarter.

43' - Good run from Angad Bir Singh

A good run on the right flank from Angad Bir Singh and he passes the ball back right to the centre of the shooting circle from the baseline, wrong footed. However, there's no Lancers forward there to put it in.

All of them were right in front of the goal...no one stood back to receive in case the ball comes a bit back. That well could have been a third goal for the Lancers.

Gonasika come on attack and they earn a penalty corner – their first of the match. The drag flick is powerful from Gonasika, but Krishan Phatak puts himself on the line and blocks.

That was a good save from the Indian goalkeeper.

A penalty corner handed to Kalinga Lancers for a dangerous ball and Team Gonasika ask for a review. 

Gonasika feel the last touch before the ball was launched in the air inside the circle was from the Lancers. They replays prove them right.

The penalty corner call has been reversed. Instead, it is a free hit for Gonasika.

The Kalinga Lancers have been in cruise control since the start of the second half. It feels as if Team Gonasika have barely had the ball and the Lancers are just oozing confidence.

Yet another defensive error from Team Gonasika and they have paid the price. A good pass from the left by Alexander Hendrickx and Aran Zalewski is unmarked inside the circle.

He has all the time in the world to bring his stick down and place it for a deflection. Deflected right into the goal post. LANCERS LEAD!

32' - Angad Bir Singh goes wide

Kalinga Lancers' Angad Bir Singh is surrounded at the baseline. He, however, manages to break through with a 360-degree turn and takes a shot. That was a cool move from the youngster, but the shot is off-target. 

Even if it was on target, think Oliver Payne had it covered. A good try nonetheless from Angad Bir.
