A couple of good moves from Kalinga Lancers to start off the second quarter, but they just haven't found success inside the circle. Misplaced passes, poor collections etc.

A good phase of play that for Team Gonasika. They looked comfortable in the early exchanges, but Kalinga Lancers soon took over. The Lancers had multiple circle penetrations and even had a penalty corner, but failed to convert.

However, Gonasika kept at it and found the net via veteran India star SV Sunil with just over a minute left in the first quarter.

A good move from the right by Team Gonasika and they reap the reward. A nice pass into the circle and SV Sunil slots it in. His first touch is not the best, but there's no one to clear it away.

Sunil recovers and slots the ball past Krishan Bahadur Phatak. He had missed a similar chance early in the match, but has made amends. GONASIKA SCORE!

Rabichandra with a good run into the circle for Lancers and he tries to square it to Angad Bir Singh. However, the pass is not ideal. Angad Bir can't collect and it just races out of play.

A good run on the left flank from Gursahibjit and he passes to Nicolas Bandurak, who earns Kalinga Lancers a penalty corner. Oliver Payne, the Gonasika goalkeeper, is not impressed with that call. But they decide against taking the review.

However, the drag flick from Alexander Hendrickx is wide and so no damage done by the Lancers.
