Scout report

Haokip is one of the most promising graduates of the Minerva Punjab Academy. Born in Manipur the 18-year-old centre forward played a key role in Minerva Punjab’s U-18 I-League triumph in 2018-19. He has also represented the Punjab-based team in the I- League and has made a mark with his movement on the field. Haokip was also a part of the U-19 national team camp held last year.

The number nine comes with enormous physicality, strength and skills in his foot, which aids him to go past the defenders easily. The agility and the maturity showed by the teen is an asset that needs to be cultured well by the Kolkata giants.
