The Indian team will be playing their second U19 World Cup warm-up match against Australia on Tuesday, as their group matches, starting on January 15, approach closer in the West Indies. India won their first warm-up match against the hosts by 108 runs. The match will begin at 7:30 pm IST.

    India vs Australia Warm-up Match Report

    India won the second consecutive warm-up match trampling Australia by 9 wickets in a one-sided match. All the top order batsmen scored fiercely and completed the target of 269 runs by losing just 1 wicket.

    India's captain Yash Dhull won the toss and called Australia to bat first.  Australia scored 268 runs. Ravi Kumar was the most successful bowler for India. He took 4 wickets for 34 runs. Apart from him, Rajvardhan took 3 wickets.

    In the Indian chase, Harnoor Singh and Angrish Raghuvanshi added 74 runs in 13.3 overs. Opener Angrish was out on this score. Harnoor Singh scored 100 runs with the help of 16 fours, Sheikh Rashid hit 72 runs in 74 balls with the help of 6 fours and 1 six. Captain Yash Dhul also hit 7 fours and remained unbeaten on 50. Harnoor and Sheikh Rashid retired hurt and returned to the pavilion. India achieved the target of victory in 47.3 overs.

    Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe in a match happening at the same time.
