Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend 2020 will take place from December 17 to December 20. This is a world famous competition where bodybuilders from all over the world represent their country in various categories and take home the prized title of being Mr/Ms. Olympia.

India will have two contenders for the Olympia titles this year.

Anand Arnold

Anand Arnold is the first wheelchair bodybuilder from India. Hailing from Punjab, he won the Mr. Olympia title in the wheelchair category in 2018. He was diagnosed with spinal cancer at a young age which led him to being confined to a wheelchair. However, he went on to win the title in 2018 and also placed third in Arnold Sports Festival 2019 in the Pro Men’s Wheelchair category.

This year, Anand will face competition from Harold Kelley of USA who won the Mr. Wheelchair Olympia in first place for two consecutive years – 2018 and 2019.

Bhuwan Chauhan

According to his website, Bhuwan Chauhan is the first Indian IFBB Pro and the youngest Canadian to win the Men’s Physique pro. Born in Delhi, he moved to Canada for higher education and developed a passion for the gym. This soon transitioned into a bodybuilding career as he could not play sports due to studies. He began competing in 2016 and eventually gained his IFBB pro card.

Bhuwan Chauhan will be competing for the Mr. Olympia Men’s Physique title and will face competition from Raymont Edmonds, the winner of Mr. Olympia Men’s Physique 2019.

Commonly known as Mr. Olympia, Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness and Performance Weekend is one of the largest bodybuilding competitions in the world, celebrating physical culture. It was started by Canadian brothers and bodybuilders Joe and Ben Weider.

Bhuwan Chauhan and Anand Arnold will be competing in the Men’s Physique and Wheelchair Olympia contests respectively on December 19.
