Indian Men's Team, led by Lakshya Sen opened their campaign against Korea at Badminton Asia Team Championships 2022. The Indians lost the tie 0-5.

Welcome to the live blog from Day 1 of the Badminton Asia Team Championships 2022 at Shah Alam, Malaysia.
The Indian men's team led by Lakshya Sen and Kiran George failed to impress in their outing against Korea and lost every single match, the biggest upset being that of Lakshya Sen losing in straight games.
Only Mithun Manjunath was able to take a game off the Koreans at the eleventh hour and played a thriller but all other players disappointed as they lost the tie with Korea, 0-5.

Crushing loss for Lakshya Sen as the Korean team is the first to get on the board
This was some hapless showing by Lakshya Sen, simply not his day, it seems.
Lakshya Sen loses in straight games in 42 minutes, 21-11, 21-19 as India get off to a disappointing start to their BATC 2022 campaign.

This is a nervous fight at this point. Lakshya Sen, the World No. 13 player and the person responsible for leading India in this outing is on the verge of a big upset as the Korean leads at 19-18.
