A meeting between the Sports Ministry and the wrestlers has started at Shastri Bhavan. WFI officials are also present.

According to sources, the wrestlers might soon have a meeting with the Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur.
Ravi Dahiya reaches the protest spot
Hours after requesting the wrestling fraternity to unite in their fight against WFI, the 2020 Olympics silver medallist Ravi Dahiya has reached the protest site at Jantar Mantar.
Also joining him at the site is Deepak Punia.
"I was forced to compete in two tourneys in 10 days"
"I was returning from an injury post the CWG, and the federation forced me to compete in two tournaments post the injury. I wanted to compete in a overseas tournament but was told to compete in a ranking tournament in India if I want to travel abroad. How can an athlete compete in two tournaments in 10 days while returning from injury?," Anshu Malik reveals.
"The President makes women wrestlers uncomfortable"
"The President has made women wrestlers uncomfortable at the Junior World Championships in Bulgaria. He took a room in the same hotel as our wrestlers and ensured he had a room directly opposite to them. He always kept his room open even after knowing women wrestlers are staying in the room opposite him. It is a rule that a President cannot stay in the same hotel as the athletes. The girls were uncomfortable to even get out of their room for training," Anshu Malik opens up.
"You can't take help from private sponsors"
"We are not allowed to take in any private sponsors. We are forced to go through WFI," Anshu Malik says.
"Don't be scared"
"We ask also the girls who have been wronged to not be scared. We need not be scared of anyone. Whatever we are is because of our family," says Vinesh Phogat.
"I will try to get a solution"
"I will try to get a solutions for my wrestling counterparts here. I will try to get their problem solved at the earliest," says Babita Phogat.
Babita Phogat will negotiate with the wrestlers
"Babita Phogat is here to negotiate with us on behalf of the government. She has come with a message for us," says Bajrang Punia to media.
Babita is Vinesh Phogat's cousin and is Punia's sister-in-law and a member of India's ruling BJP government.
