Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has entered the health and wellness business with the launch of Protocol32, a premium daily supplement brand built around a formulation of 32 ingredients in a single sachet.

Co-founded with entrepreneur Prashant Pitti and co-formulated by Dr. Anurag Agrawal and Dr. Arpit Bansal, Protocol32 is positioned as a daily supplement combining multiple ingredients in one drink.

The product was launched in Mumbai on October 30, following its initial announcement on the brand’s website.

Singh described the venture as the start of a new phase in his life. In his launch announcement, he wrote: “My second innings starts now.”

From cricket to wellness entrepreneurship

Singh also connected the venture to his experience playing in the 2011 Cricket World Cup while living with cancer, a diagnosis he said was unknown to him at the time.

“I played the World Cup with cancer. Nobody knew. Neither did I,” he wrote.

He added: “Now I take my daily health very seriously. So should entire India.”

The launch marks Singh’s move into the consumer health and wellness market, alongside Pitti, co-founder of fintech company EaseMyTrip.

What is Protocol32?

Protocol32 combines 32 supplements in one daily sachet, which users are instructed to mix with water or milk. The brand says its formulation is designed around 13 interconnected processes, which it describes as “chains” in the body.

According to the product website, the formulation includes ingredients such as creatine monohydrate, algal DHA, glycine, magnesium, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, CoQ10 and ashwagandha. The brand says it is entirely vegetarian and publishes the quantities of its ingredients.

The company describes the formulation as designed around the nutritional requirements of an average Indian adult. These are product positioning and formulation claims; individual nutritional requirements vary, and supplements are not a substitute for medical advice or a balanced diet.

Pricing and invite-only launch

Protocol32 is currently being introduced through an invite-only model, with the company saying the first batch will be limited to a few hundred people.

The product website lists a one-time price of ₹4,999 for 60 sachets, intended to last two months. A subscription option priced at ₹3,999 for the same period is listed as coming soon.

The company is inviting applications from fitness, health and nutrition creators, doctors, dietitians, entrepreneurs and celebrities, among others. Interested applicants can apply through the brand’s website.

Building the brand around a daily routine

The product has been co-formulated by Dr. Anurag Agrawal, Dean of Biosciences and Health Research at Ashoka University and former director of CSIR-IGIB, and Dr. Arpit Bansal, director of Jeevan Jyoti Hospital in Prayagraj.

Protocol32 says it is manufactured in Bengaluru at an ISO- and GMP-certified facility and holds an FSSAI licence. The brand also states that every batch undergoes independent laboratory testing.

With Protocol32, Singh is taking his public profile beyond sport and into the growing market for nutrition and wellness products. The brand’s next challenge will be building consumer trust around its formulation, evidence and long-term use.
