Kerala Sports-Tech startup Dartle raises $100,000 to enter US market

Kerala-based sports-tech startup Dartle has raised $100,000 to expand its youth-sports technology platform into the US, taking its B2B offering into one of the world’s largest youth-sports markets.

Dartle develops software for youth sports and football organisations, helping clubs and other sports entities use technology to manage their operations and broader sporting ecosystems.

The US expansion allows the startup to take a product developed in India into an international market, while adding to the growing number of Indian sports-tech companies looking beyond the domestic market.

For Dartle, the move is centred on its existing B2B model rather than building a consumer-facing sports product. Its platform is designed to support organisations with the technology required to manage their sporting operations, creating a software layer around youth sports and football.

The expansion also reflects a wider opportunity in youth sports, where clubs, academies and other organisations increasingly require digital tools to manage athletes, operations and engagement.

The $100,000 funding will support Dartle’s expansion into the US market as it looks to establish its platform outside India. Moving into the US also places the Kerala startup in a significantly larger and more established youth-sports ecosystem, where a large network of clubs and organisations supports football and other youth sports.

Dartle’s journey from Kerala to the US highlights how India’s sports-tech ecosystem is beginning to produce products aimed at international markets rather than being built solely for domestic use.
