National Games, Day 16: Sathiyan Gnanasekaran wins silver in men's singles- Highlights

Table Tennis: Sathiyan Gnanasekaran into the final of the men's singles category

India international Sathiyan Gnanasekran progressed to the final of the men's singles category, winning a close 5-game encounter against fellow teammate Abhinandh of Tamil Nadu.

Final Score: Sathiyan 3-2 (12-10, 18-20, 11-3, 5-11, 11-9) Abhinandh

Table Tennis: Men's singles semifinals is underway

It is an all Tamil Nadu showdown in the first semifinal of the men's singles, with Sathiyan G taking on Abhinandh. 

Sathiyan already has two National Games medals in his kitty, and will be eager to add a singles medal as well. 

Hockey: Maharashtra secure bronze in men's hockey

A solitary goal against Punjab was enough for Maharashtra to bag the bronze medal. 

Venkatesh's goal in the 36th minute was the sole point of difference between the two teams. 

Up next, the finals where Karnataka takes on Uttar Pradesh. 

Table Tennis: Excellent from Selena as she makes it to the final!

After going a game down, Selena S fought back brilliantly against Pritha Priya and took the match 4-1 (7-11, 16-14, 11-7, 11-9, 11-6) and she is now into the finals of the women's singles event.
