STARTING 7
The starting 7 for the first match of the night between UP Yoddhas and Jaipur Pink Panthers is out!
UP Yoddhas – Road to Playoffs
UP Yoddhas have had a better run in the league stages comparatively. They finished third in the standings, just two points adrift of Dabang Delhi, who booked a direct spot in the semi-finals.
The Yoddhas have won 13 out of their 22 matches so far even with their skipper Surender Gill not seen in action much. The young trio of Bhavani Rajput, Gagan Gowda, and Bharat Hooda have stepped up admirably well with raiding duties in his absence.
The defensive duo of Hitesh and Sumit have also been consistent throughout, pocketing 63 and 65 points respectively.
Jaipur Pink Panthers – Road to Playoffs
With 12 wins in 22 games, Jaipur Pink Panthers just about scraped through to the playoffs in the sixth and final position. They have been far from flawless, often relying heavily on Arjun Deshwal and Ankush Rathee's individual brilliances.
Deshwal sits third in the raiding list this year with 225 points accumulated so far, whereas Rathee has 67 tackle points and is the sixth best defender of this season.
The inaugural champions will have a task cut out against the UP Yoddhas if they are to enter the semi-finals.
