Women's HIL: Odisha Warriors thumps Delhi SG Pipers – Highlights
END OF THIRD QUARTER!
A quarter, which has completely broken the Delhi SG Pipers. Yibbi Jansen scored from a drag flick for her second goal of the night, before Baljeet Kaur became the first Indian scorer in the Women's Hockey India League.
Just a minute later, Moes Freeke found the net once again to put the Warriors into a four-goal advantage.
The Pipers look no match to the Warriors and the result of this contest seems a foregone conclusion now. Can the Pipers reduce the deficit is the only question?

Another brilliant move from the left by Odisha Warriors and it is yet another goal. The ball finds Moes Freeke inside the circle, who beats a couple of defenders to slot it in.
The Pipers are deflated. The Warriors elated.

A good move on the left by Baljeet Kaur and she reaps rewards. A quick 1-2 with captain Neha Goyal inside the circle before she slots deflects the ball in.
The Warriors tighten their grip on the match, while the Pipers fall further and further behind.

Fillet Michelle with some smart work on the right flank and she earns a penalty corner for the Odisha Warriors.
It is Yibbi Jansen, who steps up to take the drag flick, and she makes no mistake. The Warriors are off on a celebratory run. They have doubled their lead.
The Pipers ask for a review. They feel that the ball was trapped inside the circle before the drag flick, but the replays prove otherwise. They lose their reviews and the goal stands for the Warriors!

The Delhi SG Pipers haven't done too bad for themselves either, but they have lacked that X-factor inside the shooting circle. The fact that the Warriors have been excellent in defence has only added to their woes.
