India looks set to enter the Semifinals
As India looks set to enter the semifinals, take a look at how the Indian team enjoyed their best ever finish at the Junior Women's Hockey World Cup in 2013
HALF TIME!
That's the end of the first half and India have a comfortable 2-0 lead. They did have opportunities to extend their score, but the Korean defense has been rock solid.
The South Koreans did come close to scoring themselves but failed to convert, thanks to Bichu Devi's heroics on the goal once again. Though it looks like one-way traffic at the moment, India cannot afford to rest easy.
23' - India with the better possession now
A very slow quarter so far, but India has enjoyed much better possession. They are yet to convert those to goals though.
19' - India on the charge
The South Korean shoulders have dropped following those two goals and India keep looking more and more dangerous by the minute.
LALRINDIKI SCORESSSS!
The first quarter keeps getting better for India. A beautiful penetration and shot from the center right from Deepika, but the South Korean goalkeeper blocks it well. The ball seemed to have rolled away, but Indian intercepts and takes yet another shot of the rebound which is guided inside the net by Lalrindiki.
EASY PEASY for the striker.
That's also the end of the first quarter.
IND 2-0 KOR
India fails to trap
India fails to trap that injection from Sharmila Devi and there goes their chance to double their score.
13' - PC, INIDA!
Wonderful run from Deepika follows chaos inside the circle, handing India yet another PC.
10' - MUMTAZ KHAN SCORESSSS!
A PC for India and they convert it rightaway. Wonderful injection from Sharmila Devi before India tries a variation and Mumtaz Khan slots it in with a wonderful deflection.
Wonderful start for India to break that rock-solid Korean defence early on in this contest.
