A massive bidding war for Adrohit Ekka!

The first bidding war of the 2026 HIL auction. It is for Adrohit Ekka, a 19-year-old. Soorma Hockey Club start the bid at Rs 2 lakh. Tamil Nadu Dragons take it up further.

The bid has now crossed Rs 5 lakh as neither teams are willing to give up on Ekka. And now suddenly the bid is four times his base price as we touch 8 lakhs.

Dragons have the bid at Rs 10 lakh. Soorma raise it instantly to Rs 10.50 lakh. Dragons raise further to Rs 11 lakh.

Soorma pull out. There is no other interest. Adrohit Ekka will play for Tamil Nadu Dragons!
