Urazova Beam ROC: OFF on her acro series. and quite wobbly after that on most skills. My goodness, that is going to cut ROC's lead if USA hits. This team final is becoming more intense every second

no medal is worth risking an athlete's mental health. 

Kudos to Simone. Takes courage to take a decision like this. Phenomenal athlete. Just not her day. We wish her well

Simone Biles reportedly withdraws due to a "mental health issue". I go back to my earlier statement. USA Gymnastics CONSTANTLY depending on Simone to save the day is not a strategy or any way to treat your best gymnast. 

She is a person, not a strategy. 

Jennifer's twin sister, Jessica Gadirova gets 13.833 for her floor routine

Melanie Beam - 13.566 for that beam routine

Lu Yufei beam: great routine. hitting all her skills. a few small wobbles. Btu when China is on they're amazing. 

ROC leads by 2.5 points over USA. This next beam rotation is going to be a big one. ROC has to hold on!

Suni Lee absolutely smashed that bar routine!

Viktoria Listunova Bars ROC: 14.9 for a beautiful routine. Her legs are PASTED together throughout her routine.

Melanie France Beam - hits the mount and acros series well. jumps good. She looks very steady today. 

Tang Xijing 13.733 & Zhang Jin gets a big 13.9 WOW!

Suni Lee Bars: 15.40!! Highest score on bars in the competition

Tang Xijing Beam China: Textbook China beam. What else can i say. She is hitting every single split and every acro skill. A great dismount to end. wow. 

Melnikova ROC Bars: 14.966

Suni Lee Bars USA: nabieva to bhardwaj to shaposh to gienger, she HITS!!! Yes this girl is unbelivable under pressure!! WOW, USA will love that 

Melnikova Bars ROC - Good going. not as crisp as she usually is but they will take that. Really good. ROC holding on to that lead. 

Looks like Jordan Chiles went up on bars instead of Simone. She hit under pressure! Wow, that must not have been easy. Gets a 14.166. Good for her!
