Tokyo Olympics: Artistic Gymnastics LIVE Day 2 - Pranati Nayak fails to qualify; Simone Biles eyes history - Updates, results, blogs
Pranati - Floor Exercise
Pranati hits her first pass a 2.5 twist and her second, a double tuck well. Strong last two passes as well with a double twist and forward full twist! Seems to have lost out on some execution errors, since there were no falls in that routine whatsoever
Pranati on Floor
Pranati gets through her first performance of the Games on floor exercise, scoring a 10.633. She had a 4.40 D score with a 6.233 in execution.

When will Pranati Nayak compete?
Yes, we have you covered.
Pranati Nayak the lone gymnast from India starts her bid for that long-awaited Olympic medal on Sunday morning at 6:30 AM IST in Subdivision 1.
Pranati like every other individual gymnast is awarded the opportunity to compete in the all-around during the qualification competition.
How does the qualification work?
The top 8 teams will qualify for the Team Final which takes place on the 27th of July at 16:45 IST. Following this, the top 24 gymnasts in the all-around (best score across all four apparatus) qualify to the All-Around final which takes place on the 29th of July at 16:50 IST.
Lastly, the top 8 gymnasts on each event qualify for the respective event finals which start on the 1st of August continuing until the 3rd of August (starting at 14:00 IST on each day).
It's time!
Female gymnasts will bring their 'A' game to the Games with the very first competition at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre. Today is QUALIFICATION DAY in Tokyo for the women!
This is the only day for gymnastics where no medals will be awarded. Even though there are no medals this is probably one of the most important days for the gymnasts.
