Tokyo Olympics: Golf Day 14 LIVE, Aug 06 — Aditi Ashok in pole position to win silver —Updates, results, blog, scores
Some info
For those who are new to the sport, the golf course is usually cut with different lengths of grass. The fairway is open and with minimal grass so it makes it ideal for golfers to land their ball and roll it on the fairway. The rough is usually on the sides of the fairway near the trees and has a considerable amount of grass. It is slightly tough to play from there but is doable and not impossible.
Hole 2- Par 4
Aditi's first shot is onto the rough. She will need to work on ensuring that she at least gets it on the fairway from next time.
Hole 1
Shot 3 is a chip that goes beyond the hole but is within a good putting range.
Hole 1
Aditi's 2nd shot bounces on the green but goes into the rough. She will have to aim for a par here.
Hole 1
Her first drive is into the rough but it shouldn't be too much of a worry.
