32' - Canada start well

Canada start well in the second half as they press forward well before the Indian defence intercepts.

HALF TIME!

There goes the hooter and that's the end of the first half. India have clung on to the one-goal advantage they have enjoyed since the start of the match, but Canada are looking more and more dangerous with each passing minute.

This match is far from over and we will surely have an even more exciting second half post this short break.

29' - Indian defence caught napping

The Indian defence is caught napping this time around. Canada completely opens up the defence, but thankfully for India the backhand shot from the strike went just inches wide of the far left post. THAT WAS LUCKY!

26' - Good defence from India

Canada come on a counterattack and penetrate from the right. The Indian defence stays tight and intercept cleanly. Good stuff.

23' - CANADA SCORESSS!

Canada strike back and they strike back quickly. India handover a PC, thanks to a feet inside the circle and Canada does not waste any moment to score that.

India have scored against the run of play. They penetrate from the right flank, where the Canada goalie blocks the first shot. The rebound goes to the right flank again from where a beautiful cross finds Naveent in the circle who slots it in.

19' - Canada on the charge

Canada are slowly coming into their own now. They have enjoyed the better possession in second quarter so far and India need to get things under control sooner than rather. 

16' - Beautiful defence from India

Canada go on the charge rightaway in the second quarter and penetrate from right down the center. It looked dangerous for a bit, for the Indian defence has got it under control. A clean interception and clear.

END OF THE FIRST QUARTER!

A decent first quarter for India as they struck early via Salima Tete. However, things have been more or less equal since then. India did come close a couple of more times, but the Canadian defence has been air tight and has not committed any more mistakes.

A lot to play for as we come out for the next 15 minutes.
