India had an incredible start by winning set 1, but England took the lead in set 2 and continued through the tie-breaker, leading to them advancing to the semifinals, and India ended its campaign here as England topped the D section table.

End 4 began after a disappointing previous end for India, where they failed to get any bowls close to the jack. It was another chance to reduce the lead, but India's deliveries were once again far from the jack. England took full advantage, adding two more points to take a commanding 9-3 lead and move close to winning Set 2.
