The young Indian continues his tactics of counterplay, but the Ugandan boxer came out all guns blazing and pushed Aditya to the corners and found some clear punches.
This forced the referee to give a standing count against Aditya, and the Judges give the round to the Ugandan.

Boxing, Men's 55Kg Round of 16: Jadumani Singh beats Pakistan's Sumama Rehman
Jadumani Singh rattled his Pakistani opponent with his traditional aggressive footwork and combination of punches. He also tried to keep a close distance, as Sumana had a height advantage, so the Indian wanted to keep him out of his reach.
In the first round, the judges narrowly awarded the round to the Indian boxer by a 3-2 split decision. But in the second round, Jadumani further increased the pressure.
This resulted in the first standing count for the Pakistani boxer from the referee, and the judges agreed with him and gave Jadu a 5-0 win in the second round.
In the end, Jadumani won the match on a unanimous decision, claiming his second consecutive win in Glasgow and is now just one win away from a maiden medal.
