Para Athletics, Men's 1500m T54 Final: Ramesh Shanmugam finishes in 7th place

Ramesh clocked a new season best of 3:23.59s but finished in 7th place on his debut at the Commonwealth Games.

England's Nathan Maguire clinched the gold medal with 3:17.65s

Athletics, Men's Triple Jump Final: Praveen Chithravel, Selva Prabhu in action

Indian national record holder Praveen Chithravel will fight for the gold medal in the men's triple jump final.

After finishing in heartbreaking 4th place in the last edition, Praveen will be aiming to win his maiden CWG medal. India's Selva Prabha will also fight for a medal at the event.

Praveen has the second-best personal best in the 12-man field, behind Jamaica's Jordan Scott.

Para Athletics, Men's Shot Put F57 Final: Soman Rana, Subham Juyal in action

Two Indian para athletes will be in action for India's final field event of the last day of the Para Athletics Programme.

Both Soman Rana and Shubham Juyal will start as medal favourites, having the best two personal bests among the 10-man final field.

Hello and welcome to The Bridge's LIVE coverage of Day 10 of the Commonwealth Games 2026!

Competition resumes on Saturday with action across bowls, boxing, cycling, judo and athletics. A total of 21 medal events are scheduled across multiple sports.

All the boxing finals will take place on August 1st, expected to be a big boost for India's medal tally. Meanwhile, the men's triple jump final will also take place, featuring Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu.

In Para Athletics, Soman Rana and Shubham Juyal will fight for medals in Men'sshot Put F57. Gulveer Singh returns for the 5,000m final, aiming to be India's only multi-medallist in Glasgow.

The action will also continue in Judo, Bowls and Cycling events on August 1st.
