Treesa-Gayatri led 6-3 in the second game but a slew of errors from them sees the Chinese pair have bounced back and now lead 8-7. This is the first time Liu and Tan have the lead, since the first point of the match!

Treesa-Gayatri start well in the second game, opening up a 3-0 lead. Liu and Tan then show some aggression, hitting consecutive shots into Gayatri's body before the Indians concede a point.

Some good defensive work from Gayatri before Liu hits a smash straight into the net as Treesa-Gayatri pocket the opening game 21-15 in 26 minutes.
They were never really tested there, were they?
Treesa and Gayatri, though, cannot afford to get carried away by this phase of play. They would love to wrap this up in straight games.
