India's campaign at the doubles come to an end with this as both Satwik-Chirag and now, Ashwini-Sikki have lost their quarterfinal encounters in a close affair.

However, in the singles, India's hope still remains fresh with PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth staying in cruise control and booking their semi-final slots.

Sindhu will be playing second-seeded Korean sensation An Seyoung next while Srikanth will have to take on Indonesian veteran Jonatan Christie in the semifinals tomorrow.

Fourth-seeded pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy give it their all but the Koreans prove to be too relentless here and despite good efforts from the Indian duo, especially in the rallies, they were unable to win today.

The Koreans progress to the semifinals, 21-19, 21-17. Very closely fought encounter indeed!

And just then, Ashwini-Sikki switch up the momentum as the Koreans show a sign of nerves.

The Korean pair seem to be racing ahead with their well-placed shots as the errors pile on the Indian pair's front.

Quite some making up to do here as the Koreans lead 11-7, like in Game 1.

The Koreans are moving very well in rhythm here but the Indian pair attempts to give pressure and gets back on serve.

Ashwini-Sikki, the fourth-seeds at the tournament are being made to go the distance here and there are a lot of classy rallies taking place.

The Koreans have the lead at 20-18.

The rallies are already intense in this match as Ashwini-Sikki are being made to work hard by the Korean opponents who lead 11-7.
