Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra is super excited to essay the role of Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal in her biopic. However, she wasn't the first choice for the role. Filmmaker Amole Gupte recently opened up about the reasons Kapoor exited Saina. He said that the actor's health issues at the time stopped her from giving 100 per cent to the role.

Hailing from the city of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, Eshan Naqvi was a very talented badminton player before he had to part ways with the sport due to a lower back injury. The son of a regional Sports Officer, Naqvi he travelled to Mumbai as a 13-year-old to attend a badminton camp under his coach Srikanth Vad and became a three-time Maharashtra state champion training under him.

The director of Saina Nehwal's biopic, Amol Gupte lashed out at the speculation and the false news that was being portrayed in the light of the poster and was certainly aiming his message at trolls. He offered an explanation that mentioned the hand with the tri coloured sweatband is someone who aspires to reach the level of Saina.
