Lakshya Sen is out on court number 1. He is up against Ng Ka Long Angus. The usual warmups have started.
Ishaan-Tanisha LOSE!
They are not even a match to the Chinese pair. Ishaan-Tanisha go down 13-21, 12-21 in the very first round of the Hylo Open. A lot to improve upon for the young pair.

The Chinese pair continue to control the proceedings as Ishaan-Tanisha trail 8-11 at the second mid-game break.

They had reduced the deficit to 13-15 had Ishaan and Tanisha, but the Chinese pair pocket six points in a row to win the first game 21-13. Can the Indians bounce back?

A decent show from Ishaan-Tanisha, but they need to come up with a lot more if they are to give the Chinese pair a run for their money. They trail 8-11 at the first mid-game break.

A beautiful combination play as Ishaan keeps on defending for five-six shots in a row before Tanisha comes up with a wonderful drop shot to steal a point. They still trail 5-8.
Not the best of starts for Ishaan-Tanisha
They started off with a perfect smash from Tanisha Crasto, but have since erred a couple of times to trail 2-4.

The Indian mixed doubles pair of Ishaan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Crasto are out on court number 2. They are up against Feng and Huang of China.

The Hylo Open kickstarts today, and on the very first in action will be the Commonwealth Games champion Lakshya Sen. He will be accompanied by the young mixed doubles duo of Tanisha Crasto and Ishaan Bhatnagar.
