Hello and welcome to the Day 3 live blog of The Bridge for the German Open 2022!
So far, in the women's singles, both PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal have crashed out of the Super 300 and could not make it till the quarterfinals.
In the men's singles, we have Kidambi Srikanth who has booked his spot in the quarters. Lakshya and Prannoy have also booked their tickets to the quarters.
In the doubles, the men's duo of Ishaan Bhatnagar/Sai Pratheek lost to the pair of Krishna Prasad/Vishnuvardhan Goud who are into the quarters.
In the women's, the combine of Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand also lost.
There is a whole of badminton action still left for the Indian shuttlers at the German Open 2022 with 3 quarterfinal matches to look forward to!

Aside from PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal suffering some harsh losses, it's been a good day for the men's shuttlers with Kidambi Srikanth, Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy securing quarter-final berths.
Meanwhile, Krishna and Vishnu also swept past Ishaan and Pratheek in a thriller to enter quarters!
Lakshya Sen is THE SENSATION, mark our words! After a brilliant display of badminton against seasoned Indonesian star and fourth-seeded Anthony Ginting, Sen gets his way in just 34 minutes, winning 21-7, 21-9.
This win will give the Indian youngster and World Championships bronze medallist a major boost going ahead in this European tour.

HS Prannoy enters the quarter-finals as well after battling past World No. 17 Lee Cheuk Yiu in straight sets, 21-19, 24-22! Great going for the Indian men's side!
Terrific showing from the Indian shuttlers on both sides of the net as they produce a thriller! However, it is Krishna and Vishnu who steer the ship better today to enter the quarter-finals of the German Open 2022.
This match has turned into a thriller with Ishaan and Pratheek stepping up their game to take the second set and now we are into the decider!
