Chou Tien Chen wins after Parupalli Kashyap retires hurt with the score at 3-0 in the first game.
Chou Tien Chen, who is the clear favourite in this match, picks up the lead by 3-0 in the opening game.
HS Prannoy goes down 21-18, 21-19 in a hard-fought match against the world number 7 Jonatan Christie of Indonesia.
The Indian fought well, but Christie did what top players do the best - Thrive under pressure. With that loss, Prannoy is out of the Denmark Open 2021.
HS Prannoy, what a champion! Wins 3 straight points and levels up at 19-19 with his campaign on the line.
Can he convert though?
The Indonesian further extends his lead to 19-16. This seems over for Prannoy at the moment. Can he turn this around?
HS Prannoy fights back, and the deficit is now just 1 point. 16-15 in favour of Chirstie.
Christie now has a 4-point lead at 14-10. This is slipping away quickly from HS Prannoy.
Former Commonwealth Games champion Parupalli Kashyap will have his task cut out against fourth seed Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei.
Once again it is Jonatan Christie who breaks open a lead ahead of the mid-game interval. The Indonesian leads 11-8 - the same margin as in the first game!
