The star-studded biennial badminton showdown is looking good for top Indian shuttlers as it was a very pleasant day of victories on Day 3 of the event. Satwik-Chirag, Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth, and defending World Champion, PV Sindhu got off to winning starts to their campaign in Huelva, Spain.
To keep this winning momentum going, we have three matches lined up today in quick succession - HS Prannoy will take on Malaysia's Liew Daren in the Men's Singles while the Men's Doubles duo of Dhruv Kapila and MR Arjun will face-off against the Russian pair of, Vladimir Ivanov-Ivan Sozonov, the eleventh seeds and in the other match, the Women's Doubles will see Ashwini Ponnappa-N Sikki Reddy taking on the fourteenth seeded Chinese duo of Liu Xuan Xuan-Xia Yu Ting.
Can they keep the winning streak going?

Wha a thriller that was but Ashwini-Sikki manage to sail through to the Round of 16 as they defeat the Chinese pair, 21-11, 9-21, 21-13!
What a show this was!!
Very few mistakes from Ashwini and Sikki Reddy now as they lead 18-10! They are mixing up shots deliciously here!
Ashwini-Sikki keep their nose front here in the decider and lead 14-10! Just gotta hold on to this and move ahead! Let's goooo!
The Chinese have regained momentum and how but Ashwini-Sikki are also presenting a good defense, it is 3 ALL!
The Indian duo tried to fight hard and tried to make a comeback in Game 2 but, the Russians were just unbeatable. The Indian's lose in a straight game 21-11 and 21-16 in 41 minutes.
We are into a decider as Ashwini-Sikki loses the second game 21-9. They need to come back stronger and with better answers!
The Indian duo is just 1 point behind. The score is 16-15.
