All England Open 2026: Lakshya Sen enters Final – Highlights

A smash deep down helps the Indian take control at 1-17-16.

Victor Lai pocketed three consecutive points to cover up and take lead at 14-13. 

Game 1: 13-11 in favour of lakshya

More than fourteen minutes of play have already passed. The match looks evenly poised with long rallies. Lakshya manages two points cushion at 13-11 in game 1.

Game 1: Lakshya 10-9 Lai

The match is close. Lakshya steals a point and then concedes another by sending the shuttle wide. Both players are trying to play it safe.  

Game 1: 3-all

That’s one hell of a smash from Lakshya, and it brings the score to 3-all.

A 52-shot rally opens the match.

Earlier, Lin Chun-Yi booked his place in the men’s singles final and will meet the winner of the semifinal between Lakshya Sen and Canada's Vicktor Lai.
