All England Open 2026 LIVE: India’s Lakshya Sen made his way into the final of the 2026 All England Open Super 1000 with a hard fought win over Canada's Victor Lai in Birmingham on Saturday.
In a marathon 97-minute contest, Sen prevailed 21-16, 18-21, 15-21, battling through blisters, and cramps.
Sen will take on Chinese Taipei's Lin Chun Yi in the title clash on Sunday.

That's all we have from the Lakshya Sen's 2026 All England Open semi-finals. The match was expected to be tight, but boy weren't we treated to a brutal contest.
It lasted 97 minutes and Lakshya Sen eventually had more fuel left in the tank. He has worked immensely on his fitness over the last couple of years and it certainly paid dividends.
There was a point where it looked he would have to retire in the decider with the cramps, but the fact that Victor Lai's game had also dipped due to exhaustion helped.
Lakshya Sen is now a two-time All England Open finalist, having reached there four years ago in 2022. He is the second Indian to achieve this feat after Prakash Padukone.
Last time, Sen finished on the wrong side of the result and if he is to challenge Li Chun Yi tomorrow, he'll require one hell of a recovery.

Four-point lead now for Sen as he intercepts from mid-court to win another point. 19-15.
Sen looks to lift a to Lai's backhand corner. The intention was right but the execution goes wrong. Sen leads 17-15.
Lai, however, returns the favour right after as he goes long. Sen up 18-15.
Sen finds the energy out of somewhere. Back-to-back smashes to kill a point. He is 17-14 up.
This is brave from Sen. He is struggling to walk, but doesn't want to give up. He is all in!
Two consecutive points after the medical break for Lai. This is now a two-point match. Sen up 16-14.
He drags his hand on the court and has a small cut. There's blood on the court, not much on his hand though. Sen leads 16-12.
Another intense rally and Sen's pushed to the defensive. He once again tries to turn the head of the racquet at the last moment and it the shuttle lands wide.
Sen then hits a smash wide. Lai has reduced the deficit to four points at 11-15.
We've hit the 90-minute marker. This is officially as long as a football match!
