And for Dhruv and Arjun too...what a fight but it is the Daddies who survive and win!

After 51 minutes on the court and a lot of cheeky play from both sides, the Indian pair of MR Arjun and Dhruv Kapila go down fighting to the more experience Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan in three sets, 21-15, 12-21, 18-21.

Beautiful show from Arjun and Dhruv but the Daddies have the last word!

What a mad, mad match was this but it is HS Prannoy who fails to win despite the fight!

So near, yet so far! HS Prannoy really turned things up here but Vitidsarn, with the momentum of having won the German Open still there, was not going to give away the match.

HS Prannoy has to bow out of the All England Open in the first round itself, losing 21-15, 24-22. Chin up, champ!
