Biggest of them was Sathiyan and Manika getting knocked out in the mixed doubles after being 2-0 up.
Sathiyan also booked his place in round of 16 as he defeated Almutairi Turfi of Saudi Arabia 11-5, 11-6, 11-9, 11-2.
The eighth-seeded Sutirtha Mukherjee and Ayhika Mukherjee defeated the Kazakh pair of Anastassiya Lavrova and Zauresh Akasheva 11-7, 11-4, 11-7.
An easy win for Sreeja/Diya against the Vietnamese player with 11-8. 15-13, 11-6 and they advance to next round.
The Indian men's pair of Achanta Sharath Kamal and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran won their round of 32 tie in just 13 minutes defeating their Mongolian opponents 11-5, 11-3, 11-3.
No more blips from the Indian pair as they win the third and fourth game 11-6, 11-2 to win the match and advance to round of 16.
The Indian pair won the first game 11-8 but lost the second game 11-9, They need to hold the winning momentum.
